Typhoon Lagoon reopens Jan. 27, 2027, the day Blizzard Beach closes for refurbishment

Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park reopens on Jan. 27, 2027, and Disney's Blizzard Beach closes for refurbishment that day. Disney announced the reopening in a Disney Parks Blog post dated Nov. 5, 2026: "We are so excited to announce that Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park reopens on January 27, 2027." Disney's Blizzard Beach page says: "On January 27, 2027, Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park will temporarily close for refurbishment."

What changed

• Typhoon Lagoon has a reopening date. Disney's park page says "Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park is currently closed for refurbishment." The same page says "Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park will reopen on January 27, 2027."
• Blizzard Beach closes the same day. The blog post has Blizzard Beach "currently welcoming guests until January 26". Its park page says it "will temporarily close for refurbishment" on Jan. 27, 2027. Disney’s Blizzard Beach page gives no reopening date.

When

• Until Jan. 26: Blizzard Beach is open, per the blog post. On Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026, Disney's calendar listed Blizzard Beach at "10:00 AM to 5:00 PM" and Typhoon Lagoon as "12:00 AM to 11:59 PM - Refurbishment".
• Jan. 27, 2027: Typhoon Lagoon reopens and Blizzard Beach temporarily closes for refurbishment.
• Neither Disney page says when Typhoon Lagoon closed.

What it means if you live here

• Plan a water-park day by date: Blizzard Beach through Jan. 26, and Typhoon Lagoon from Jan. 27, 2027. Disney's Typhoon Lagoon page says "At least one Disney water park is open each day, except on days with inclement weather."
• The Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass: the blog post says "You can start visiting Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park now and continue the fun at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park when it reopens." It lists the pass at "$89 plus tax for ages 10 and older" and "$83 plus tax for ages 3 to 9". "Pass valid through May 15, 2027, except blockout dates February 19-21 and March 20-28, 2027."
• Pass extras, per the post: "one round of miniature golf before 4 p.m. on any one date during the pass usage window", and "20% off same-day rentals of Polar Patios and Beachcomber Shacks", where "this perk must be booked in person at the water park."
