Saucy! by KFC is open at Flamingo Crossings Town Center in Winter Garden. The Orange Observer reported on Nov. 2 that "The store is open daily". Saucy's own site listed the store as "Open until 01:31 am" when read on the evening of Nov. 3. A grand-opening celebration was scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7.

What changed

• A new Saucy! by KFC location. WFTV reported: "It will be the chain's sixth Orlando-area location." Read on Nov. 3, Saucy's site and Florida's license file each show six stores in the Orlando area, this one included.
• The space. The Observer said the store would be "where PDQ previously resided".
• The food. WFTV reported: "Saucy's menu centers on chicken tenders served with 12 signature sauces."
• How you order. WFTV said the location "includes self-order kiosks, digital ordering and a drive-thru."
• The chain here. WFTV also reported: "Saucy debuted its first restaurant in Orlando in December 2024."

When

• Opened: Monday, Oct. 12, per GottaGoOrlando. It reported on Nov. 3 that the chain "opened its newest Orlando-area restaurant at Flamingo Crossings Town Center on October 12". WFTV had reported on Oct. 5 that the restaurant "will open Monday, Oct. 12." We found no report from that day.
• Reported open on Oct. 24. HorizonWestInfo posted the headline "Saucy! by KFC Officially Opens in Horizon West at Flamingo Crossings". The article is for supporters only, and we read only the headline and date.
• Reported open Nov. 2. That is the Observer's story above. Its July 3 story had said "An opening date has not been announced."
• Florida's records. The state's license file shows an active license at this address, SEA5815630. Its files also show a "Food-Licensing Inspection" completed with no further action on Oct. 9, 2026, and an "Approve Change Owner Request" entry the same day. Those are licensing records, not a record of the day the doors opened.
• Grand-opening celebration: Saturday, Nov. 7, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. WFTV and the Observer give the same date and times.

2224 Western Way, Suite A, Winter Garden, at Flamingo Crossings Town Center. The Observer calls it Saucy's "Horizon West location".

What it means if you live here

• The closing time has two answers. WFTV and the Observer say 2 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 3 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. Saucy's own store panel, read Nov. 3, says 11:01 a.m. to 1:31 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday, and 11:01 a.m. to 2:31 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. The site does not say why the times differ, and we did not visit or call the store. If you are going late, check with the store before you drive.
• Free boxes, as announced for Nov. 7. The Observer said the "first 50 guests" would get a free Saucy! Snack Box with five menu options; WFTV said the "first 50 customers".
• The rest of the event, as announced. The Observer listed "a live DJ, a sauce sommelier leading a sauce bar, sauce roulette, prizes and more." Saucy's locations page did not mention the event when we read it, so these details rest on the two outlets.
